Holding a Bachelor of Engineering and an MBA in Finance, he began his career in India’s steel, manufacturing, and R&D sectors. Certifications as Certified Energy Manager, ISO 50001 Lead Auditor, and SAFe 6.0 Product Manager ignited his drive to transform energy-intensive industries through data-driven innovation.​

As Global Solution Architect at GE Vernova, Varun delivers ISO 50001-compliant digital energy systems and Net Zero strategies for multi-site enterprises. He turns complex energy/GHG data into actionable insights, fostering cross-functional collaboration to bridge technical challenges with real-world execution.​
