Lena Sundquist has extensive experience in leading positions within innovation, business development, sales, and marketing. Since becoming CEO of Climeon in August 2021, she has overseen the successful commercialization of the company’s next-generation waste heat recovery system, HeatPower 300. Today, Climeon’s technology is operating in the field at both industrial facilities and onboard ships, delivering cost-efficient clean electricity from low-temperature waste heat.

With a strong customer-driven approach, Lena has reinforced Climeon’s standing as a leading ORC provider, offering value-driven waste heat–to–power systems that help operators boost efficiency and reduce emissions.

Lena previously spent 15 years at Alfa Laval Marine & Diesel, where she played a key role in developing environmental technology business within the maritime and power sectors. Before joining Climeon, she served as CEO of Kivra Sweden. She holds a Master’s degree in engineering from the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology.
