Jostein Røynesdal is Vice President and Head of EU Public Affairs at Hydro. Hydro is Europe's largest aluminium company, headquartered in Norway, and present in 18 EU member states. Hydro operates globally across the entire aluminium value chain, from mining, refining and primary production, to extrusion presses and recycling, and is also a large producer of hydro-, wind and solar power. Previous experience: Energy Director at Borregaard ASA; Lawyer at Lund & CO; Adviser at the Norwegian Ministry of Trade & Industry. He holds a law degree from the University of Oslo, an LL.M in European Law from the University of Maastricht and an MsC in Energy Management from ESCP Europe Business School.
