Joost Greunsven

Joost Greunsven is Manager Market Analysis, within TenneT’s Business Unit ‘Design’. His team develops scenarios for the future energy system, analyses and models the electricity market and assesses future security of supply. Products that the team delivers / contributes to are a.o. Monitoring Voorzieningszekerheid and the European Resource Adequacy Assessment (ERAA); market simulations for national grid Investment Plans, Target Grid and the European TYNDP; and modelling and quantification for the Flexibility Needs Assessment and various ad-hoc assessments.

Before his current position, Joost has worked as business analyst and Regulatory Advisor at RWE Generation, and as Electricity Market Developer where he built up extensive knowledge on the design and functioning of the wholesale electricity market.
