Alexander Schröder

Alexander Schröder is Senior Technology Manager at BASF, working on technology solutions for the transformation of energy-intensive industrial production. His focus is on the electrification of industrial heat and steam generation, including large-scale heat pumps and their integration into complex energy and utility systems.

Since joining BASF in 2012, he has worked across process development, project engineering and technology management. His experience ranges from chemical process technologies and major cooling infrastructure projects to the development of sustainable steam supply concepts for BASF’s Ludwigshafen site in Germany and other BASF sites across Europe and worldwide.
